Sarah Fisher Creative Director & Co-Owner

When people say, “Go Big or Go Home,“ most people would run. I, on the other hand, would ask… “Exactly how high can I go, really?”

I have spent the last 25 years skill building in all sorts of creative avenues including fine arts, interior design, visual design, event planning, prop-making and event styling. Despite how many avenues I have gone down however, it’s important to mention in that 25 years, I have also learned how to be a very disciplined artist. I understand costs, time management, sustainability, organization and safety. I also love to create & stick to the spreadsheet!

So yes, I am a busy minded, detail oriented, multi-tasking creative extraordinaire. LOL. I will never be able to stay in one lane. In fact, I’d like the whole road; both sides if it means I can continue my days covered in paint, petals and sawdust. Life is too short for one lane. I have honed many craft(s) and consider them all great assets to myself and my clients. Hence, here it is.

Society Picnic is my place of business. All creative needs and/or challenges are welcome here. No matter how big, small, personal or corporate your needs are, I’m confident we can figure it out together & make something spectacular.

I am absolutely honored to join Sarah, along with this incredible community she has built up around her, and become a partner and Co-owner at Society Picnic. While gorgeous corsages and boutonniere's (and a shared name of a beloved grandmother) may have brought us  together initially, Sarah quickly became a part of many precious moments in my life. And it was through these collaborations and a shared desire to gather people, create, inspire and make all things meaningful, that a friendship was forged and a partnership born. If it's one thing I've learned in my life, it's that when the call comes and you know it's right, even if it makes you uncomfortable, the answer is always YES! Joining Society Picnic was the best decision i made in 2023 and I cannot feel more blessed. For years, I had been intentionally welcoming all possibilities and looking for projects where I could share my gifts. And wow, I get to use them all here. I love working with and connecting with people for all occasions. I love collaborating on events creatively and seeing them come to life. I love building relationships and above all working with gorgeous flowers that mark every meaningful event in our lives. I welcome this next year with arms stretched and open wide, and I look forward to those special events and moments that bring so much joy and meaning to your lives!

In 2021, during the pandemic, to keep my brand relevant when events were often on hold, I connected to my clients, friends and family with a weekly newsletter.
