DIY: Flash Card Garland

I have made these for a couple of parties and they have proven to be a hit. Fairly simple for the crafty type, and for those of you who are not... I will get to you in a moment.
Step one: Take a photo and upload it into a photo-editing program
Step Two: Black & white the photo & adjust the image using the cartooning effect
Step Three: Erase any definition or background in the image & adjust the size to 5x7
Step Four: Add the text to your photo {P is for Party, B is for Boy etc...} & print out on white card stock
Step Five: Watercolor or use colored pencil to lightly fill in select areas
Step Six: Round the corners and glue to a slightly larger colored card stock paper
Step Seven: Hole punch the upper corners, thread with ribbon & hang!
We have used it on a mantel, highchair or even to adorn a door frame!
